How P2P transfer works
- • The file travels directly between both browsers and is not stored by SELFGONEFILE.
- • The transfer is end-to-end encrypted.
- • The sender must approve the receiver before the transfer begins.
- • Compare the security code when sharing sensitive files.
- • Keep both tabs open until the integrity check finishes.
- • Links are temporary and completed, cancelled or expired sessions cannot be reused.
- • Transfer speed depends on both devices and their network connections. Current Chrome or Edge is recommended for large files.
